Pure Bliss Essentials

Recently Grace sent me 4 of Pure Bliss Essentials facial products.

After 3 weeks of usuage in the middle of the winter, my skin was left feeling soft & firm.  Normally this time of year I tend to feel dry.

Serum:

The Serum only lasted about 1 week--and that was using it once daily.  I would have liked it to have lasted slightly longer to see how it worked on my skin.
However, in the week that I used it, I have to say that it felt wonderful on my skin.  I needed only a very small amount, and it absorbed instantly into my skin.  I did not have to wait to apply the moisturizer on top.  My face felt soft, & looked more even-toned.  It also seemed to prime my face, & my make-up lasted longer.

Multi-tea cleanser:

This has been a very harsh winter, & my normal skin has been feeling on the dry side.  This cleanser kept my skin moist & firm, without any dry feeling.  My skin felt cleansed, but not stripped.  My face felt very clean, after using it, & I did not feel the need for a toner.,  I used this both in the AM & PM.  The scent was very uplifting & soothing.  It also washed off very easily, I did not fell any build up on my face of product--it came right off.

Rooibos Cleansing Scrub:

This was extremely gentle on my face---at first I thought too gentle, & it should have more of an exfoliant, but after using it twice/week, I really did notice a difference in my skin, & realized I didn't need something that scrubbed too much.  It was very creamy, with just the right amount of scrub to it.  It also washed off my skin very easily, but felt wonderful as I used it.  My skin looked & felt clearer & healthier.
The only thing I did not like was the fragrance--I couldn't place my finger on it, but it smelled like overripe fruit.  I would have liked something more subtle for the fragrance.

Pure Bliss Anti-Oxidant Creme:

Normally this time of year my skin tends to feel very dry.  However, after using the Creme the past few weeks, my skin has felt moisturized & healthy,  I have no dry spots, & my complexion is very even-toned.  It absorbed immediately into my skin, so there was no need to wait before applying make-up.  There was no heavy or greasiness upon usage, just soft, moisturized skin. My face did not appear to get shiny at all during the day, instead remained even & soft.  It also had a nice light scent.  I do not like anything heavily scented that goes on my face.



Grace did get back to me on the scent of the scrub:


"On the scrub:  none of my facial products have scent added.  The very slight scent that they have is only the natural smell of the ingredient blend.  Pretty much all commercial products have fragrance to mask the botanical and in some cases, chemical smells.  I'm just not a believer that any added scent can do anything to benefit the skin, so I do not scent.  I think better of two choices is to not have a masking scent, and leave those additional additives out."

I have to agree--I would rather have the natural fragrance than something artificial.

Here is my review of the Pure Bliss Essential products:

Cleanser – I loved the creaminess of this cleanser.   It removed my makeup well and left my face feeling clean without feeling stripped.   My skin felt soft and smooth after cleansing.

Rooibos Cleansing Scrub – When you first look at this scrub, it does not look like it will exfoliate enough because it appears to have a creamy texture.  I was pleasantly surprised as it was quite scrubby!   It exfoliated very well and the creaminess of the texture allowed it to do it gently.  As with the cleanser, my face felt clean and soft afterwards with a nice glow.

Regenerate Serum – I loved the texture of the serum.   It was light and soaked into my skin quickly leaving my face smooth without a sticky or oily feel.  In the morning, my makeup went on smoothly after applying the serum.

Anti-oxidant Crème – I found this to be a great moisturizing cream.  It has a nice thick creamy texture that absorbed in well leaving my skin with a nice glow and looking dewy.  I found it to be a little too heavy for me to use in the morning, but it worked out well using it in the evening after cleansing and applying the serum.

Our winters in Ohio are cold and dry and my face has a tendency to get chapped and red, especially around my nose.   When I used these products, my skin stayed nicely moisturized and plump looking and it kept away the peelys and redness.  They gave me a nice glow, my makeup went on smoothly and stayed on.   I also liked that they were unscented.  Although the serum seemed to have a faint scent it wasn’t overpowering or lasting.   I have found many products I can’t use because I can’t stand that they are so heavily perfumed for facial products.   I also loved the fact that these products are all natural.
